Final Fantasy 7 Remake (24)

March of 2020 is turning out to be quite the month for the PlayStation 4 in the Japanese RPG department. Not only is the enhanced re-release of Persona 5, Royal, closing out that month, there’s also the tough as nails sequel, Nioh 2. But it’s probably indisputable that the biggest one is the first episode of the remake of Final Fantasy 7. And today we got a ton of new screens and art for the upcoming episodic project.

The screens show off a lot of the iconic characters and locations from the game, specifically Shinra and Aeris who get the biggest spotlights. Some of this seems to be cinematics while others, like many of the Aeris screens, seem to be from battle. Check them all out below.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will release exclusively on PlayStation 4 on March 3rd, 2020. The exclusive window will apparently last roughly a year, and after that it’s not been announced what other platforms it will release on.
