The first episode in the remake of Final Fantasy 7 is due to hit next week, and it happens to come at a time when we’re living through a potentially world changing event of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the outbreak has caused a lot of delays for major PS4 titles, with The Last of Us Part 2 and Iron Man VR being the latest examples, it seems Final Fantasy 7 Remake will manage to make its release. It’s even out in the wild already, depending on what region you’re in, and well, if nothing else, it’s going to be a fine looking game.

Those who have already got their hands on the game won’t be too surprised by this, but Square Enix recently took to Twitter to announce that the remake would feature some visual enhancements. It will support HDR, and will also have 4K support for those playing on the PS4 Pro. The game is already quite the looker, so it’s sure to look even more gorgeous with those enhancements.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will officially release on April 10th, though certain regions have already broken that street date. Reviews for the game will go live starting April 6th.
