Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 3 Not Listed for Current Financial Year – Report

NieR: Automata still on track for 2016 despite also not being listed.

Final Fantasy 7 remake

Square Enix recently published a report of “major titles” that will be releasing during the current financial year (which ends on March 31st 2017). On this list, it noted that World of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 will be out in 2016.

However, interestingly enough, it doesn’t have Final Fantasy 7 Remake or Kingdom Hearts 3 on the list. The odd thing is that NieR: Automata is scheduled for this year but is also not on the list.

A representative from Square Enix later clarified to Videogamer that “the slide doesn’t feature the compete line-up of titles for the year”. While one could take that to mean that NieR: Automata is meant to release this year (and is not listed as a “major title”), it still doesn’t completely clarify the lack of dates of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3.

As always, stay tuned for more information, especially as E3 2016 draws closer.
