Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles

After rumors emerged nearly two years ago, it’s official: Final Fantasy Tactics is getting the remastered treatment. Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles is out on September 30th and packs in two games in one. Check out the debut trailer below.

The Ivalice Chronicles consists of an Enhanced and Classic version of the beloved tactical RPG. The former includes an updated user interface, modernized visuals, quality-of-life features and full voice acting. However, those who want to experience the original as it was can opt for Classic, which offers the same graphics and gameplay.

The translation is also based on Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, the PlayStation Portable version released in 2007, and features auto-save. Otherwise, it should be the experience that you know and love.

Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles is launching for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Stay tuned for more details on other features and improvements with the remaster in the coming months.
