Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles, this time around focusing on the upcoming game’s story. The trailer was released as part of the recent Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, and you can check it out below.

The trailer showcases the fact that Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles will make use of the cinematics that were originally only available in the PSP version of the classic tactical RPG. The trailer also confirms that the game will feature quite a bit of voice acting for just about every important character in the game.

As for the story itself, Final Fantasy Tactics has always featured a deep story that takes players all over the world as they partake in political intrigue and ultimately make the decision for how the world will shape out.

Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and the Switch 2 on September 30, and is currently available for pre-order on all platforms.
