Final Fantasy Type 0

Those looking forward to playing Final Fantasy Type-0 on their PSPs or PS Vitas following a language patch from Operation Doomtrain that would have allowed English and Spanish languages in the game will need to wait a bit longer. Square Enix has issued a cease and desist letter to the group, prompting all work on the fan translation to stop.

According to SkyBladeCloud, “Unfortunately I’m forced to remove my posts and pages related to the popular Final Fantasy Type-0 fan translation project. That’s right, certain game company thinks that threats and false accusations are the way to treat its biggest fans.

“For the time being I can’t answer questions related to this matter, but I’ll write a more comprehensive post about all this once I get the chance. I hope you understand, and as always I appreciate your support (that I might need more that ever in the near future). Thank you very much.”

Final Fantasy Type-0 will instead be getting an HD remaster for the PS4 and Xbox One, while Final Fantasy Agito arrives on mobiles. What are your thoughts on the news? Let us know below.
