Square Enix’s HD port of Final Fantasy Type-0 is finally available in North America for the Xbox One and PS4. You can check out the launch trailer above which showcases the game in all of its up-rezzed glory.

Final Fantasy Type-0 originally released in October 2011 for the PSP in Japan but never saw an official release date in the West. It was originally meant as part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis saga along with Final Fantasy XIII but eventually spun off into its own universe. The game has been critically acclaimed for its gameplay and story-telling, especially with the decline in the series following FFXIII.

The HD port is all the more interesting because it also includes a demo of Final Fantasy 15 titled “Episode Duscae”. This will provide players with their first sneak peek of the long-awaited action RPG.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be releasing in Europe on March 20th so stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
