It is happening. It is finally happening.

One of the most legendary games of all time, one of the greatest titles ever released, is now going to be returning to PlayStation- and unlike the troll that we got back at the PlayStation Experience last December, this, this will be the real thing. Sony announced today at E3 that Final Fantasy VII will be remade, it is real, and that it is coming to PlayStation 4 in 2016.

It looked amazing. It looked beautiful. Screw that 2005 tech demo that you saw that kicked off all of that anticipation- this was the real thing.

Between this and The Last Guardian, Sony has already so thoroughly won E3 that it’s not even funny. Of course, their conference is still ongoing, and it may deliver yet even more- so stay tuned to GamingBolt. We’ll have more news and coverage for you from E3, including from Sony’s ongoing event.
