Final Fantasy 15 Features Product Placement Deal With Coleman

Product placement can be a slippery slope.

Final Fantasy XV

Those of you who have been paying close attention to the videos that have been made available for Final Fantasy XV may have spotted something that seemed a little but unusual, which it is, but it’s not unheard of. Yes that’s right, Square Enix have officially announced that they have signed into a partnership with the outdoor activities and recreation product company, Coleman. This is why you’ve probably spotted Coleman products and logo’s appearing in the game.

Not too surprisingly, given that Coleman focus on outdoor products, you’re going to be seeing the Coleman Logo’s on the camping equipment, such as the Lanterns and camping tents, that are being used by our heroes.

Though with that being said, it’s not yet known if the deal is exclusive to Final Fantasy XV or if this deal will still be in place when the franchise moves forward. Lets just hope we don’t start seeing a Burger King in Final Fantasy, that would be taking “fantasy based on reality” a little bit too far.
