Final Fantasy XIII-2’s Story Mode to be between 30-40 hours

Posted By | On 22nd, Nov. 2011

The length of the story mode for Final Fantasy XIII-2 is between 30-40 hours, according to a Famitsu interview with the dev team of the game. Final Fantasy XIII took almost 50 hours to beat, so this could mean, the main story is slightly shorter this time around.

After you beat the last boss, you can just reload your last checkpoint and see what the game has to offer. It was also mentioned that the game will have a lot of DLC and Omega boss battle is the first content to be released in Japan.

If you have played Final Fantasy XIII, you will get a free in-game item provided you still have the save file with you.

The game releases on January next year for the PS3 and XBox 360. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.

Thanks, Siliconera.
