Square Enix is readying for the fourth and final beta phase for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, which will be releasing for PC and PS3 on August 27th. The publisher has recently updated the game’s Lodestone site to indicate that registrations for beta testing during Phase 4 will begin, with the registration period ending on July 30th, 9:59 PM PDT.

So those interested in beta-testing for the MMORPG are advised to head over there ASAP and submit their registrations if they want to be a part of Phase 4. Phase 3 testing, which concluded just recently, saw PS3 and PC gamers play together for the first time. What will Phase 4 hold for players? We’ll have to wait and find out.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is Square Enix’s second coming of flagship MMO property which features a whole new engine, new battle mechanics and quests, and brand new environments. It is also set to release in 2014 for PlayStation 4.
