For Honor Gameplay Footage Explores Vikings Campaign

Cinematic trailer explains why these factions are fighting.

For Honor 1

Ubisoft’s For Honor received some new gameplay footage, showcasing the single-player campaign that players will embark on. This particular trailer is from the perspective of the Vikings as they battle the Samurai. Believe it or not, these different factions must somehow win and overcome the warlord Apollyon, who seems to favour the constant warring.

The game itself is incredibly atmospheric and showcases some of the Art of War battles – one on one duels that require careful timing and positioning of your weapons for success. Does it look nearly as good as that initial trailer from last year? Maybe not but the violence is certainly a spectacle of sorts.

For Honor will be releasing on February 14th 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. What are your thoughts on the gameplay and the single-player campaign? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates from Ubisoft’s E3 conference.
