Ubisoft’s For Honor is live and comes with an in-game store for micro-transactions. As the developer noted before launch, these micro-transactions can be used to acquire in-game currency called for Steel for various purposes.

As per NeoGAF, you can spend $5/€5 for 5000 Steel, $10/€10 for 11,000 Steel, $20/€20 for 25,000 Steel, $50/€50 for 65,000 Steel and $100/€100 for 150,000 Steel. It’s also possible to pick up XP boosts (referred to as “Champion Status”) and different Feats aka scorestreaks for the various characters. Outfit bundles are also being offered for Steel.

It’s worth noting For Honor’s post-launch content will be free and includes maps, modes and new heroes (though they must be purchased with in-game currency unless you own the Season Pass). Steel can at least be earned through regular play so it’s not like you have to indulge in micro-transactions.

What are your thoughts on the current rates of Steel? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned.
