For Honor Update Separates Skirmish, Elimination Into 2 Playlists

No longer will you play the one you dislike.

Along with a huge patch today buffing certain fighters, Ubisoft’s For Honor has also received a server-side update that separates the Elimination and Skirmish modes into two separate playlists.

Community manager Eric Pope noted that the change was relatively easy to make thanks to strong player numbers but as he notes, “This doesn’t mean we’ll be able keep it set this way forever.”

Originally, both modes were including in the Deathmatch playlist. One could set a preference for their desired playlist but it still wasn’t a surefire way to get your mode of choice.

Given how Elimination doesn’t allow for respawns while Skirmish does, the difference was enough for players to argue for their separation. It also doesn’t help that the map voting screen doesn’t indicate which mode you voted for.

What are your thoughts on the Skirmish and Elimination being separated in For Honor? Let us know below in the comments.
