Former Executive At Microsoft And Cisco Appointed EVP And CFO Of Nvidia

Colette Kress, formerly an executive at Microsoft an Cisco, is a veteran of the technology industry, with 24 years of experience under her belt. As of today, she is now the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American global technology company, Nvidia.

Before her stint at Microsoft, Kress worked at Texas Instruments, the name behind the popular TI calculator series, for 13 years. From Texas Instruments, she moved on to Microsoft to serve as the CFO of the company’s Server and Tools division.

Most recently she was the Senior VP and CFO of the business technology and operations finance division at Cisco. Additionally, Kress was responsible for all of Cisco’s business development, and over saw engineering and operations.

Nvidia CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang released a statement about Kress’ recent shift to Nvidia:

“We have searched extensively for the right candidate and are thrilled to have Colette join us. She brings fantastic experience, excellent financial management skills and deep industry knowledge to Nvidia. Colette will be a great asset as we work to extend our global leadership in visual computing, mobile and the cloud.”
