Fortnite Battle Royale

Epic Games’ free to play Fortnite: Battle Royale has received a new development video on the game’s official Twitter and it notes a couple of upcoming changes. This doesn’t include “rocket riding” though, the practice of surfing on a rocket as it’s in flight, which will remain in the game. That is, unless it breaks the game some how.

Team killing is one such thing that will be checked and clamped down on in the near future. Some weapons will see increased damage and changes to magazine size but there will also be a brand new weapon with silenced SMGs. Check out the full update video below for more information.

Fortnite: Battle Royale has been doing extremely well for Epic Games, having hit 10 million players in just two weeks since launching. Much like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, this is a Last Man Standing battle with 100 players. It’s possible to go solo or queue up with other players and fight for supremacy.
