After its most recent patch, Epic Games’ Fortnite suffered a database failure that prevented players from logging in. After significant downtime for servers, they’ve now come back online. While such features like the Replay System and Port-a-Fort grenades are available, the new limited time mode, 50v50 v2, has been delayed to next week.

The developer revealed on Reddit that account service issues are responsible. In order to “preserve your play experience” for the weekend, Epic Games made the call to delay it. As for what’s changed with 50v50 since its first appearance, loot spawn rates have been increased. Farming resources was increased by 75 percent, Supply Drops contain double ammo with an additional consumable/trap/resource drop and chests have double ammo and consumables.

Floor loot spawns have also been buffed by 15 percent. Otherwise, the mode still allows two teams of 50 players each to go to war. You can still expect up to six Supply Drops to fall ever two minutes within the storm circle.
