Fortnite Save the World

Epic Games’ Fortnite has experienced quite the downtime since receiving its latest update (which added Port-a-Fort grenades and the Replay System to Battle Royale). A database failure kept players from logging into the game and servers subsequently went offline.

Thankfully, Epic is now working through the issues. It revealed via its Public Status updates that, “Login and game service issues have been resolved and we’ve returned to a healthy state.” Issues related to emails, including those tied to password resets and two factor authentication, have also been fixed so notifications should start rolling in immediately.

With services running smoothly, it’s a good time to check out Fortnite’s v3.5 patch and all the changes it brings. Along with the return of 50v50 as a limited time mode, four new cyberpunk-style heroes have been added to Save the World. New Neon Weapons have also been thrown into the mix which look fairly snazzy. To learn more about the Replay System’s features and functionality, the changes made to 50v50 and more, head here.
