With over 350 million registered users, Epic Games’ Fortnite has in some ways transcended being the biggest game in the world into something more akin to a pillar of pop culture. The game has constantly been updated and now is holding events within itself as sort of pseudo-concerts. But as far as both of those, it seems the most recent will be hit with delays.

As announced via Epic’s official blog, the game’s 3rd season will be pushed back. This is one of several delays the season has suffered. Another live event was also scheduled called “The Device,” and it also has been pushed back to mid-June. Both delays are said to be in response to current heated protests going on in the United States.

Fortnite‘s next season is now scheduled for June 17th, and the “The Device” event will now come right before on the 15th. Both should come to all platforms on their new dates.
