Fortnite is an actual monster and a phenomenon that can’t be stopped anymore. Following its explosive popularity on consoles and PC, as well as the wide release it finally got on iOS, it looks like it is raking in a ridiculous amount of money now.

How ridiculous? Well, according to market analysis firm SuperData, in the month of March alone, the game managed to generate a staggering $223 million in revenue- that’s ridiculous, and that’s more revenue than some companies make for an entire year.

This means that it is the top grossing console game as far as digital revenues go, and the fifth highest grossing PC game. It also means that its revenue intake is up 73% over February’s total, which, again, is ridiculous.

As always, we can assume that this popularity is fueled by the battle royale mode. Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS (at least the battle royale mode), with a Nintendo Switch version rumored heavily.
