Fortnite Mobile Is #1 App on App Store in 13 Countries, Just 12 Hours After Launch

And this is just a limited release right now!

Fortnite Battle Royale Lucky Landing

The Fortnite train just cannot be stopped- if you needed any more proof, the (hugely limited) mobile release from yesterday should clinch the argument for you. Apparently, in just 12 hours after launch, Fortnite has become the top app on the App Store in 13 countries, Sensor Tower has revealed- this is in spite of the fact that the game is just invite only right now!

Not only is Fortnite on mobile invite only, it is also rather rough, thanks to it being in a very early state of development (which is why its release thus far has been so limited). Its explosive popularity right off the bat, then, is indicative of just how popular the game really is, and how embedded in mainstream it has become.

Fortnite is available right now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as on Mac, Linux, and iOS. An Android version is planned for later in the year.
