Fortnite Save the World

Yet another rumour that turned out to be true, Epic Games’ Fortnite is now available for the Nintendo Switch. Yes, you can actually head to the eShop right now, download it and play the game. And yes, it’s totally free.

Fortnite needs no introduction at this point (but we’ll provide one anyway). It’s the number Battle Royale title in the world and allows 100 players to compete in a massive free-for-all to decide who’s the last standing. The game’s main hook is its cartoonish aesthetic combined with building that allows walls and floors to be created at a moment’s notice.

Epic Games has done its fair share to support Fortnite with weekly updates, Season Passes that bring new cosmetics, major content drops that alter or add to the map and so on. We’ve seen time-limited modes focused on Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War. What are your thoughts on Fortnite hitting the Switch? Let us know in the comments.
