Fortnite Teasing “Emergency Broadcast” For Battle Royale Mode on Twitter

Is the comet about to strike?

Fortnite Battle Royale

It seems as though Epic Games is gearing up to make an announcement regarding Fortnite: Battle Royale soon. They posted an image on their Twitter account of an “emergency broadcast” (apparently, that is also being broadcast on every TV in game)- which means something is about to happen.

There are theories on what this might mean- maybe it has something to do with the comet in game (which has steadily been coming closer, and is commonly speculated to destroy some part of the map), and Titled is getting nuked out of existence. Maybe this is just details on an upcoming Season 4. Maybe Epic Games has achieved the impossible, and Fortnite will be the first game to achieve full cross platform play. We don’t know yet.

Whatever it is, it should be announced soon, hopefully- and whatever it is, it should hopefully send shock waves through Fortnite‘s hugely engaged player base.
