The rumours are true – John Wick has finally come to Fortnite. Though Fortnite: Battle Royale has had a Wick-esque skin for a while, the Wick’s Bounty limited time mode offers the chance to be the Baba Yaga himself. Check out the trailer below to see what we mean.
The new limited time mode is called Wick’s Bounty and can be played solo or in duos and squads. Each elimination awards gold coins and you rack up more based on the enemy’s eliminations. Coin Leaders are displayed on the HUD scoreboard. At 250 coins, they gain a gold/silver/bronze icon over their respective heads. At 400 coins, they can be seen on the map and compass when nearby and moving/shooting.
At 600 coins, the leaders can be seen by everyone on the map when shooting/moving. A player who gains that last point threshold will have the alternate John Wick skin on for the rest of the match. First player to gain 1000 tokens wins.
Along with challenges that dole out free rewards like the Gold Coin Back Bling, One Shot Glider, and Boogeyman Wrap, there’s a cosmetic set in the shop, which contains the John Wick Outfit and Simple Sledge Pickaxe.
