Fortnite’s Thanos Crossover Event is Ending Tomorrow

Wield the Gauntlet one last time.

Fortnite Infinity Gauntlet

When the Thanos crossover event was announced for Fortnite last week, Epic Games made it very clear that the event would be time limited- but it wasn’t clear back then just how long it would keep going. Now, we know- Epic Games has confirmed that the Thanos powered infinity Gauntlet mode will be taken offline tomorrow.

This means that if you haven’t played the mode yet (or if you have played it, but haven’t yet had the chance to be Thanos, like me- I suck at games) you have until tomorrow to change that. The Infinity Gauntlet mode is a unique mode in Fortnite in that, by introducing Thanos as a super powerful “power up” on the map, it creates unique possibilities for cooperation that do not exist in any of the other modes in the game. Hopefully, a Thanos-less variant will be kept around even once the Infinity Gauntlet mode goes offline.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS smart devices.
