Forza Horizon 3 Has Now Gone Gold, PC Specs Revealed

Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 3, the next entry in the excellent open world arcade racing series from Microsoft, has now gone gold, well ahead of its expected September release. To commemorate the occasion, Microsoft today revealed that the Warthog from the Halo series, the most iconic vehicle from that franchise, will be included in Forza Horizon 3– free codes for downloading it will be sent to all Forza players who have previously played Halo: The Master Chief Collection or Halo 5: Guardians.

Microsoft also revealed the official PC specs for the game, indicating that the game will be rather high end. You can check them below- but Microsoft have promised that they intend on making the PC port of Forza Horizon 3 a great one. “Forza Horizon 3 players will have a tremendous amount of adjustment options when playing on Windows 10,” they said. “From basic options like full screen, vertical sync, and resolution, to more advanced adjustments like quality settings for motion blur, mirrors, reflection, static and dynamic geometry, we’re giving Windows 10 players the power to play the way they want. Whether playing on the recommended specs or pushing the hardware limits to deliver the ultimate 4K racing experience, Forza Horizon 3 players will have lots of options for making the most of their experience.”

Forza Horizon 3 is due out on September 27 on Xbox One and on PCs running Windows 10. You can check out a trailer showcasing the Warthog in the game, as well as the list of PC requirements, below.
