11 bit Studios’ Frostpunk 2 isn’t even out yet but is garnering praise for its recent beta. A new accolades trailer highlights what critics think of the social survival sequel. Check it out below.

Available until April 22nd for those who pre-purchased the Deluxe Edition on PC, the beta features the Utopia Builder Preview. The Sandbox Mode offers 40 percent of the overall experience, as players manage their settlement on a much larger scale than before while dealing with various factions. Of course, the biting cold remains as much of a threat as before.

Frostpunk 2 launches on July 25th for PC, and 11 bit Studios promises even more factions, colonies, maps and a narrative campaign when it launches. Those subscribed to PC Game Pass can play it on day one, but it’s also in development for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Stay tuned for more details on a release date for the latter platforms in the coming months.
