Indie combat racer Fuel Overdose, available on PS3 via Playstation Network in Europe, is due to release in Asia and North America soon (with a PC version as well next month).

While the game hasn’t been critically acclaimed, updates are still steady and developer I-Friqiya – consisting of developers Jerome Coquard and Ryoh Tazaki, with the game produced by Skander Djerbi and Aroun Ducroux – is still doggedly supporting the title.

To further improve the experience and prep it for a wider commercial release outside of Europe, I-Friqiya has released a new patch which significantly improves in-game performance. It shoudl also quell some of the criticism surrounding the game and improve the experience significantly.

The patch’s improvements include a more and increased stable frame rate, better AI drivers, the requisite bug fixes and tweaks, loading times reduced by 30 percent and improved online multiplayer support.

Fuel Overdose is currently available on Europe’s Playstation Store for £9.69/€11.99.
