FUSE: New Screenshots Showcase Gameplay from Insomniac’s Upcoming TPS

Overstrike Nine is in way over their heads in this latest batch of screens.

Insomniac Games has released a handful of new screenshots for the upcoming FUSE, a third person shooter game that marks the first time the developer has released a game on PS3 and Xbox 360. FUSE will be published by Electronic Arts in the second quarter of 2013.

FUSE follows the chronicles of Overstrike Nine, who infiltrate a government facility to solve the mystery behind the alien fuel “FUSE”. On the way, they’ll be opposed by a shadow organization looking to obtain the FUSE for themselves. But thankfully, experimental weapons utilizing the fuel allow Overstrike Nine to get the leg-up on their enemies.

FUSE will feature 4 player co-op and feature four different team members with their own varying abilities. Environments range from open environments to winter wonderlands and technological wonders to get your murder on. Though honestly, it appears to be a walking mountain of cliches, we’ll wait till release before passing full judgment.
