Warner Bros. Games and HBO have released a trailer for upcoming smartphone game Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. The trailer, which you can check out below, gives us a glimpse of the story, as well as some gameplay and some fairly impressive facial capture for its characters.

Notably, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad has some great facial capture for characters like Jon Snow, with actor Kit Harrington being rendered quite impressively. The trailer gave us a glimpse of a number of characters, ranging from the warriors of the Night’s Watch, to Jamie Lannister all the way in King’s Landing.

On the gameplay side of things, it looks like Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will feature real-time action combat, with the player taking on a host of different threats, from bandits and wild animals, to the ghoulish white walkers.

While there is no definitive release date for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, we do have a release window of 2025 for its iOS and Android release.
