Gamestop Selling Digital Versions of Destiny

I mean, if that's your thing, great, I guess.

Destiny

Destiny, the next generation game coming up from Bungie, the studio that changed the landscape of gaming forever with Halo: Combat Evolved, and then again with Halo 2, might possibly be the biggest game of this year, and no retailer wants to be left out of the action, right?

Well, it seems Gamestop is going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that customers buy Destiny from it. In addition to carrying all physical SKUs of Destiny when it launches, the store has announced that it will also be selling the digital versions of Destiny for both, Xbox Live and PSN, in stores.

Destiny will be launching on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 this October. As always, no Wii U version has been announced for the game yet; surprisingly, no PC version has yet been confirmed either, although the latter has been rumored pretty frequently now.

Stay tuned for more coverage.
