Six months ago, everyone was all too willing to discard Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle as yet another cheap attempt to milk money out of two popular franchises- we’re glad all of us were so thoroughly wrong. Mario + Rabbids is funny, beautiful, and dangerously addictive. A solid grid based turn based combat system forms the core of its gameplay, while exploration outside of battles is also a ton of fun. Kingdom Battle brings together the two popular franchises together in unexpected and wonderful ways, and it’s a must-play for all Nintendo Switch owners.
