Gary Schyman to score Bioshock Infinite

He also scored the first two Bioshock games.

The musician Gary Schyman was behind both Bioshock 1 and 2, and he will be returning to Bioshock Infinite as well, according to Ken Levine who revealed this information on Reddit.

“His score is very different from the first two games, yet very much guided by the same aesthetic principles. We were lucky to have him and I can’t wait until you get to hear some of his stuff. He’s working in a different, sparer style, but it’s awesome,” he said.

We also covered two news earlier where he revealed more details about Bioshock Infinite.

This is what he had to say about the length of Bioshock Infinite compared to the previous games in the series.

“I’d say it’s very much like BioShock 1 in terms of length and replay. Perhaps a bit more, because we have this very large selection of gear and vigor and weapon upgrades.”

Well Bioshock Infinite seems to stay true to the original Bioshock formula and it looks like Ken Levine and his team have created a game that they think will deliver in spades.

It will be released in March 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
