2019’s September is absolutely packed with games. It’s near absurd how many big and niche titles are coming out in such a rapid way. Arguably the big jumpstarter is Gears 5, which is slated to come out on the 10th. Odds are you know if you’re going to buy this one or not (as with most franchises with five mainline games and multiple spinoffs), but if you are waiting for reviews, you don’t have to wait long.

The review embargo for the much anticipated title will be September 4th. That’s almost six whole days for the regular release date, but those who ordered the Ultimate Edition or are going through Game Pass will get access to the game on the 6th. You’ll get plenty of time to check out the reviews by then.

While the review embargo is up, we do have quite the info blowout, which you can see through here. This game is apparently one developer The Coalition has done with much creative freedom so it’ll be very interesting to see where we end up. Look for our review soon.
