Cross-platform multiplayer has been confirmed for Gears 5, allowing PC players to match up against and with Xbox One players. However, if you’re on console and don’t want to deal with PC opponents (or teammates – it works both ways) in Ranked play, you can opt out. At the very least, this ensures that everyone is fighting on an even playing field.
