Day One Launch on Game Pass
Gears 5 will release, day one, on Xbox Game Pass. This furthers Microsoft’s efforts to bring in more players to first party titles like Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4, State of Decay 2, etc. However, there’s even more initiative to pick up Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which provides Xbox Live Gold along with both Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox One for $14.99. You get to play Gears 5 a good four days earlier than everyone else, a benefit usually reserved for Ultimate Edition releases.
