Gears of War 4 Executions Shown Off Ahead Of Beta

That's probably going to be disturbing to a lot of faint hearted people.

Gears of War 4-1

On April 18, Gears of War 4‘s beta will finally be made available to everybody who purchased Gears of War: Ultimate Edition last year. Ahead of the beta, which will be the players’ first chance to go hands on with the next generation of the series that redefined what next generation meant a decade ago, Microsoft have shared a short clip on Twitter.

This clip shows off what an execution will look like in Gears 4– much like the game in general, it is violent, brutal, bloody, and sadistic. While there is definitely a case to be made for violence in games, for those of you who have enjoyed the brutality in Gears, it is good to know, probably, that it is here, unflinching and uncensored, in the final game too.

You can check out the clip of the execution in the tweet below. Gears of War 4 launches in October, exclusively on Xbox One.
