With Gears of War 4 being just a few months away from release, The Coalition and Microsoft are sharing more and more of it for us to see. Yesterday, we got to see some more of the game’s campaign- today, we get to see a brand new multiplayer map that will be in the game.

The map is called Forge, and it will be included with the game at launch- it seems to provide loads of opportunities for cramped encounters and CQC, and it has an almost MOBA-map like layout, with multiple paths that all meet in the middle, and a turret overlooking all of the action. It would certainly provide for a new kind of dynamic in Gears of War multiplayer, that is for sure.

Gears of War 4 is due out on Xbox One and PCs running Windows 10 exclusively on October 11. You can check out the new map’s introduction in the video below.
