Gears of War 4’s ‘Tomorrow’ Trailer Has Received The Series Creator Cliff Bleszinksi Seal of Approval

The grand daddy of Gears of War himself speaks up.

Gears of War 4

Much like what happened with Halo once series creators and custodians Bungie decided to move on, Gears of War is now no longer an Epic property- Microsoft own it, and their The Coalition studio is working on delivering the fourth numbered entry in the franchise later this year. We’ve been getting more and more information on the game over the last few weeks, with new media and information flowing in on an almost daily basis. And now, one very specific new video for the game has gone and made series creator Cliff Bleszinski very happy.

The ‘Tomorrow’ trailer for Gears of War 4 made Bleszinski visibly nostalgic on Twitter; Bleszinski would go on to post tweets indicating his excitement for the new game, as well as his general approval at the direction the series seems to be heading in.

For those of you worried that Gears may suffer the same fate as Halo, this, then, is good news- the series creator himself seems to like what he sees. You probably will, too, when Gears of War 4 launches this October exclusively on Xbox One.
