Genshin Impact - Update 1.6

Genshin Impact, miHoYo’s open-world action RPG and gacha game, will release on the Epic Games Store on June 9th, 2021, according to VGChronicle. The report was originally based on a tweet by the game’s official Twitter account, but the tweet has since been completed. The game originally released in September of 2020 for PC, PS4, Android, and iOS. The game has been a massive success, generating more than $1 billion in player spending on mobile platforms in less than six months.

The Epic Games Store release is kind of a big deal, as the PC version of the game is only currently available to download from miHoYo’s website. This will be the first time Genshin Impact is on a major PC storefront. A PS5 version of the game also released recently, although it was a little barebones.

Players who pick up the game on the Epic Games Store will be able to claim an in-game mystery bonus to help them out by using the in-game code GenshinEpic. The Epic Games Store release will also coincide with the game’s 1.6 update, which is scheduled to release on June 9th.
