Capcom has announced that point-and-click adventure game Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. While it doesn’t yet have a release date, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is slated for release in Summer 2023.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective puts players in the shoes of Sissel—a ghost stranded in the afterlife on Earth. Gameplay largely revolves around deciphering puzzles, finding clues, and using supernatural abilities to discover the truth behind Sissel’s death.
The re-release of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective will feature many new features, including new HD visuals, and newly-arranged and recorded music. The re-release will also feature new controls updated from the game’s original Nintendo DS release from back in 2011.
The music behind the game has been one-to-one remastered by Yasumasa Kitagawa, who is known for the music in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
