While Playground Games (hopefully) improves its communication, Forza Horizon 6’s PS5 release date has reportedly been determined. Dealabs’ billbil-kun claims that it’s launching on January 26th, 2027.
This would go against the developer’s official stance that it’s still launching this year and be in line with rumors of a delay to 2027. The open-world racer will reportedly cost €69.99/£59.99, apparently making its US price around $70, which fits with the current Xbox and PC pricing.
But perhaps the most notable revelation (if it ends up true) is that Forza Horizon 6 on PS5 will have a physical version, disc included. However, the leaker doesn’t know whether the Premium Edition, which offered early access when it launched on other platforms, is also coming. Since Forza Horizon 5 received that privilege on PS5, it’s highly likely.
Of course, the real question is: When will Playground Games announce the release date? It’s allegedly happening sometime this week, coinciding with pre-orders. It could provide details on the first paid DLC pack as well.
