Goat Simulator

Double Eleven announced on Wednesday that thanks to a collaboration with Coffee Stain Studios, the popular Goat Simulator is finally coming to the PS4 and PS3 on August 11. Since the game first launched on the PC it has been a surprise hit that allows players to do exactly what you would expect from a game that is called Goat Simulator. Of course, this isn’t just a game where you wander around a farm and eat whatever you can find.

Using this game, you can get yourself into all kinds of wacky adventures. On Sony’s official Morpheus page, Sony showed some of the features of the game, including the ability to either don a jetpack, or wrap your ridiculously long tongue around the bottom railing of a helicopter. The company also points out that you can blow stuff up, and then get up and walk away after you blow that stuff up. (Editor’s note: Yep.)

One neat feature unveiled for the PS4 and PS3 is that the game will have local multiplayer, which means up to four people on the PS4 (and two on the PS3) will be able to take the reigns of their very own goat and just start creating chaos. The game has been available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 for a little while now and it only seems fair that the game is finally launching on Sony’s hardware.

The game has been available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 since April and has been available on PC and mobile platforms even longer than that. Once the game launches on the PS3 and PS4 on August 11 it will basically be on every platform you can think of.
