God of War: Ascension Trailer Showcases Wicked New Multiplayer Maps

As God of War: Ascension nears its March 12th release date in North America, SCE Santa Monica has slowly gotten us curious with its new multiplayer features. That was until we saw the new Trial of the Gods mode – that’s when they had our full attention. Today, a new trailer has been revealed full of similar epic moments across three new maps.

The maps in question are Bog of the Forgotten, Labyrinth of DaeDalus, and the Walls of Troy. We get to see everything from large statues coming to life to sentient environments that harness the spirit of Inception and environments that can be manipulated if one has enough gumption. It certainly helps to spice up regular death-match when not ruining friendships.

God of War: Ascension will also feature a strong single-player campaign (of course), tracing the journey of Kratos before he became a messenger of the Gods and does battle with Ares.
