#28. ALECTO AND TISIPHONE (GOD OF WAR: ASCENSION)
God of War: Ascension might be the black sheep of the God of War family, but it does have a few redeeming qualities. The boss fights, for instance, are solid more often than not, largely thanks to the fact that the game very much follows in God of War 3’s footsteps in terms of going for scale. The final fight against Alecto and Tisiphone doesn’t have the narrative impact that you’d want from a final boss in a God of War game- but then again, that’s true for pretty much all of Ascension. On the other hand, this is also a fight with immense scale and formulaic yet enjoyable QTE sequences, and as rote as it is, it’s still a fun encounter.
