#16. PERSEPHONE (GOD OF WAR: CHAINS OF OLYMPUS)

God of War: Chains of Olympus ends with a bang. In fact, it may have very well have among the best endings in the entire series. Taking on Persephone and Atlas upon reaching Elysium is the perfect mixture of scale, stakes, and challenge, and caps the brief but memorable game perfectly. It’s also an extremely personal encounter for Kratos, who is finally reunited with his dead daughter, before being quickly (and heart-wrenchingly) torn away from her almost immediately afterward.
