Depending on where in the world you are, God of War is either already out, or just a few hours away from being released. And when you sit down to play the game, you will find that Update 1.10 for it has been downloaded (or needs to be downloaded), as another patch for the title launched ahead of its official release.
Update 1.10 doesn’t do much- mostly, it seems to be cleaning up some bugs and glitches before people en masse get to go hands on with the game. That said, it still comes in at a really hefty 6.2 GB, so unless you have a digital pre-load (in which case the update auto downloaded), you might want to just start playing the game without waiting for the update to finish downloading.
You can check out the full patch notes for the update below. God of War launches on April 20, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
- Showing speaker names in front of subtitles for additional context
- General economy balance and tuning
- Enemy difficulty tuning
- Various other bug fixes and improvements
