God of War Ragnarok Accolades Trailer Highlights Rapturous Critical Reception

SIE Santa Monica Studio and Sony's newest action-adventure title highlights its widespread acclaim in a brief new trailer.

God of War Ragnarok

It would be a bit of an understatement to call God of War Ragnarok one of the biggest new releases in recent memory. That it would be received well and sell well seemed almost like a foregone conclusion, and sure enough, the game has got off to a great start on both fronts right out the gate.

Reviews for God of War Ragnarok have been overwhelmingly positive, and to highlight some of that, Sony has released an accolades trailer, which you can check out below. The action-adventure sequel is currently sitting at a score of 94 on both Metacritic and OpenCritic, which puts it level with God of War (2018)’s score.

In our own review of the gamewe awarded it a score of 10/10, saying, “God of War Ragnarok surpasses its predecessor in every way. From its captivating story to its thrilling combat to the endlessly explorable and wonderfully designed Nine Realms of Norse mythology, it’s an unequivocal triumph from top to bottom.” Read the full review through here.
