God of War Ragnarok launches next week after more than a year-long delay, bringing the Norse Saga to a close. While it has several new mechanics like the Dwarven Compass for easier tracking, a long-requested feature has seemingly been added: Transmog.
When asked about the inclusion of an armor transmog system during a live Q&A on Santa Monica Studio’s Discord channel, combat design lead Mihir Sheth said (via MP1st), “The short answer is yes. There is a way to do it…It’s there in the game.” Of course, how this will work remains to be seen. Perhaps a vendor offers this function, or one could unlock transmog by leveling up armor. Time will tell.
Reviews for God of War Ragnarok go live on November 3rd, while the game launches on November 9th for PS4 and PS5.
