Though WB Games Montreal released a patch for Gotham Knights recently, it was specific to PC and only contained some bug fixes. The open-world action RPG still struggles with performance issues, but the developer is working on them. It first confirmed on Twitter that a patch for console players was coming this week.
More specific information is coming soon, but this patch addresses “a mix of needed fixes that have popped up since launch.” As for performance issues on PC and console, “The team is hard at work on a larger patch to improve performance overall and give you the best possible experience.” The console versions will see focus on frame rate stability.
An ETA for the larger patch wasn’t provided, so stay tuned in the coming weeks. A significant post-launch update is coming on November 29th, adding the four-player co-op mode Heroic Assault. This standalone mode sees players fighting through 30 floors of enemies, completing optional objectives along the way. The patch could arrive alongside it, if not sooner..
Gotham Knights is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our official review here.
